I took my boat to Milltown Dock & Marine for repair and had the absolute worst experience of my life. They had my boat for 7 weeks! Every 3 days I called and it was one problem after another. It really seemed like they didn't know what they were doing. It truly seemed like they were guessing. The motor on my boat worked perfectly with the exception of some issues with the control cables. I asked that they replace my control box with one I purchased and that's where it all started. I finally picked my boat up after almost 2 months and not only does it not function the way it should, it's worse. I now have to pull start the motor and have to choke it to turn it off. I spent over $700, got many of my own parts because they couldn't seemingly get them shipped from Forest Lake, MN about 40 miles away, got my boat back worse than it was and on top of that I was treated so poorly I was shocked. I asked the shop to keep all the original parts which they didn't. The "tossed them out" as part of their shop cleaning. The whole experience was a nightmare. I won't recommend this business to anyone. I always like to support local businesses but this is one I can't. Beware of this business! Quick update on my post, took my boat to Arrow Marine just down the road in St. Croix Falls, they had it fixed in less than an hour and it works great! These guys also serviced and stored my boat this Winter for $80 less money, just put it in the water this past Saturday and it runs great!

Needed an impeller for my motor, walked in and they matched it up and I was out in 2 minutes. Very knowledgable and helpful, and gave me tips on things to check that I had no idea about. Great small business!
This is a GREAT place to go. All the locals told us to go here and we are glad we did. We purchased a cabin over the summer so we were learning a lot about the area. Our boat motor was not pumping water so we brought it here to be worked on. They backed us right up to the service door and had us fixed in less than 5 minutes. Something was plugged in the cooling system I guess they were able to force out with air. Best part....they didn't even charge us. They took the time to go through many things we needed to know as first time boaters. If you are looking for a class act, this is the place to go. Professional, very knowledgable, friendly, and they have everything you need.
They do a great job with our dock and keeping our old boat and jet ski running great.
